यजमानांस्तु तान् दृष्टवा सर्वान् दीक्षानुकर्शितान् । हन्तुमैच्छन्त शैलाभा: खलिनो नाम दानवा:
yajamānāṁs tu tān dṛṣṭvā sarvān dīkṣānukarśitān | hantum aicchanta śailābhāḥ khalino nāma dānavāḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：见到所有主持祭祀之人——人人因受灌顶誓戒（dīkṣā）的苦行而形容枯槁——那名为迦林（Khalin）、身躯如山的达那婆（Dānava）便起意要杀害他们。此事昭示：因神圣誓愿而削弱者，易成非正法（adharma）之徒的猎物；而对祭祀（yajña）施暴，被视为极重的道德罪过，必招致冲突。
