एवं दग्धा भगवता दानवा: स्वेन तेजेसा । अगस्त्येन तदा राज॑ंस्तपसा भावितात्मना,'“राजन्‌! इस प्रकार शुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले भगवान्‌ अगस्त्यने अपने तप और तेजसे दानवोंको दग्ध कर दिया था

evaṁ dagdhā bhagavatā dānavāḥ svena tejasā | agastyena tadā rājan tapasā bhāvitātmanā ||

毗湿摩说:“大王,正是如此,达那婆众被圣者阿伽斯提耶焚尽——其内心由苦行(tapas)净化并淬炼——凭借自身的灵性光辉之力。”
