yā tuṣṭiḥ yā siddhiḥ yā śrutiḥ yā smṛtiḥ bhaktānām iyam adhyātmagatiḥ tathā jñānināṃ iyam akṣayaprāptiḥ (punarāvṛttirahitaḥ mokṣalābhaḥ) tvam eva asi || yajatāṃ kāmayānānāṃ mūrkhaiḥ vipuladakṣiṇaiḥ | yā gatiḥ yajñaśīlānāṃ sā gatiḥ tvam na saṃśayaḥ ||
All religious goods—ritual merit, scriptural authority, memory of dharma, devotional progress, and the wise person’s liberation—ultimately culminate in the Supreme; even desire-driven sacrifice reaches its true ‘end’ only in Him.
Vāyu-deva is praising and identifying the ultimate divine principle as the source and destination of multiple paths—yajña (ritual), bhakti (devotion), and jñāna (knowledge)—asserting that every ‘gati’ or final outcome is, in truth, that very Lord.
