वायुदेव उवाच
Devotion is not merely emotion but a hard-won attainment cultivated over many lives; when it matures into direct realization of the Lord, it draws divine grace. True knowledge of the Lord—supported by devotion—leads to ‘amṛta’, i.e., liberation beyond death.
Vāyudeva addresses the supreme deity with reverence, declaring that after long effort across many births he has now gained direct devotion. He praises the deity as the benefactor of devotees and states that those who truly know this Lord attain immortality (moksha).
