दण्डकानां महदू राज्यं ब्राह्मणेन विनाशितम् । तालजंघं महाक्षत्रमौर्वेगेकेन नाशितम्
daṇḍakānāṁ mahad rājyaṁ brāhmaṇena vināśitam | tālajaṅghaṁ mahākṣatram aurvegekena nāśitam ||
阿周那说道：“檀陀迦人的大国，竟被一位婆罗门毁灭；而名为多罗阇伽的强盛刹帝利族系，也被圣者奥尔瓦（Aurva）一人灭尽。”此言寓含警诫：权势与血统并不能护佑招致由苦行威力与正义愤怒所生之忿者；不法（adharma）足以致亡，哪怕只因一位灵力深厚之人。
