कीर्तयन् प्रयत: सर्वान् सर्वपापै: प्रमुच्यते । इसी प्रकार नन्दीश्वर
kīrtayan prayataḥ sarvān sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate |
毗湿摩言:“若人克己自持,发心清净,称诵此诸名号,便能解脱一切罪垢。如此,以虔诚忆念并颂扬:难提湿伐罗(Nandīśvara)、伟躯者、众部之长、牛旗之主;又称举掌一切世界之主——伽内沙(Gaṇeśa)、毗那夜迦(Vināyaka);并及温和之众(gaṇa)、鲁陀罗之众、瑜伽之众、部多之众;星宿、诸河、苍穹;鸟王迦楼罗(Garuḍa);以苦行于大地而得成就之大圣;一切不动与动类;喜马拉雅及诸山;四大海;与商羯罗(Śaṅkara)等勇之随从;以及毗湿奴(Viṣṇu)、吉什努(Jiṣṇu)、斯甘达(Skanda)与安毗迦(Ambikā)——凡以清净心称诵其名者,诸罪悉灭。”
भीष्म उवाच
Disciplined and sincere recitation of sacred names (nāma-kīrtana) is presented as a powerful means of moral and spiritual purification, capable of removing sin when done with a pure intention.
Bhīṣma is instructing on religious practice and expiation: he lists divine beings, Śiva’s hosts, cosmic elements, and revered figures, stating that chanting their names with purity frees a person from all sins.
