अनादिर्भूभ्भुवो लक्ष्मी: सुवीरो रुचिराड़ूद: । जननो जनजन्मादिर्भीमो भीमपराक्रम:
anādir bhūr-bhuvo lakṣmīḥ suvīro rucirāṅgadaḥ | janano jana-janmādir bhīmo bhīma-parākramaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：祂无始无终，为万有之本因；祂支撑大地与诸世界，亦是使一切美好之物熠熠生辉的庄严光彩。祂是高贵的英雄，佩戴灿然臂钏；祂生育一切众生，并为一切出生者之出生的最初因。对邪恶之徒，祂即“怖畏者”（Bhīma）——令人战栗；而祂的英勇本身亦可怖，足以压倒一切抗拒。于此颂赞中，毗湿摩将神圣描绘为生命之源，亦为正法之力，能制止并降伏罪恶。
