भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival
समादिष"्ट श्न विबुधैर्दर्शय त्वमिति प्रभो । सुपर्णो यस्य वीर्येण कश्यपस्यात्मजो बली । अन्तं नैवाशकद् द्रष्टं देवस्पथ परमात्मन:
samādiṣṭaś ca vibudhair darśaya tvam iti prabho | suparṇo yasya vīryeṇa kaśyapasyātmajo balī | antaṃ naivāśakad draṣṭuṃ devaspatha paramātmanaḥ ||
往昔,诸天祈请迦楼罗曰:“主啊,请示我们阿难多之尽际。”迦楼罗——迦叶波之雄子——竭尽神力,然亦不能见彼至上我、为诸天之道与归依的神圣阿难多之终极。
ईश्वर उवाच
Even the greatest strength and even divine capability cannot grasp the Infinite; the Supreme (Ananta/Paramatman) transcends measurement, teaching humility and reverence before ultimate reality.
The gods ask that the ‘end’ of Ananta (Śeṣa) be shown. Garuḍa, Kaśyapa’s powerful son, tries with all his might but fails to find or see any limit, highlighting Ananta’s boundlessness.
