Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival
ṛṣayo deha-sambhūtās tasya lokāś ca śāśvatāḥ | pitāmaha-gṛhaṃ sākṣāt sarva-deva-gṛhaṃ ca saḥ ||
The verse teaches the Lord’s supreme status as the source from whom sages and worlds arise, and as the sustaining ‘abode’ of Brahmā and all gods—grounding dharma in devotion to the ultimate foundation of the cosmos.
Īśvara is describing His own cosmic nature: creation (sages and worlds) proceeds from Him, and even the highest deities depend on Him as their dwelling and support, emphasizing divine supremacy and immanence.
