भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival

आनृशंस्येन रूपेण बलेन च समन्वित: । अस्त्रै: समुदित: सर्वर्दिव्यैरद्‌्भुतदर्शनै:

ānṛśaṁsyena rūpeṇa balena ca samanvitaḥ | astraiḥ samuditaḥ sarvair divyair adbhuta-darśanaiḥ | śārṅga-dhanuḥ sudarśana-cakraṁ ca nandaka-nāmakaḥ khaḍgaḥ—tasya āyudhāni | tasya dhvaje sarpa-śatrūṇāṁ garuḍasya cihnaṁ suśobhate | sa uttama-śīla-śama-dama-parākrama-vīrya-sundara-śarīra-uttama-darśana-suḍaula-ākṛti-dhairya-ārjava-mārdava-rūpa-bala-ādi-sadguṇaiḥ sampannaḥ | sarva-prakāraiḥ divyaiḥ adbhutaiś ca astra-śastraiḥ tasya sadā sannidhānam asti |

自在天说道:“他以慈悲为性,兼具大力,具足一切形相奇妙的天界神兵。他的兵器是娑罗伽(Śārṅga)神弓、善见(Sudarśana)神轮,以及名为难陀迦(Nandaka)的宝剑。其旌旗之上,迦楼罗(Garuḍa)——诸蛇之敌——的徽记光辉照耀。他富有高贵德行——自制与克己——并具勇武与精进;其身形俊美,仪容吉祥,体态匀称,坚忍不移,坦率正直,温柔和雅,兼具美与力。种种神圣而奇异的兵刃,恒在其掌握之中。”
