अर्थाद् वा यदि वा कामान्न किंचिदुपलक्षयेत् पितृदेवातिथिकृते साधनं कुरुते च यः
arthād vā yadi vā kāmān na kiñcid upalakṣayet pitṛ-devātithi-kṛte sādhanaṃ kurute ca yaḥ
摩诃提婆说道：“无论为利，抑或因欲，都不应以任何物事自炫示人。凡竭力备办适当资具，以奉事祖灵（Pitṛ）、诸天与宾客者——此人方为真正卓越的刹帝利。”
