समानशीलां वीर्येण वसिष्ठस्थ महात्मन: । त्वत्तों धर्मरहस्यानि श्रोतुमिच्छामहे वयम् । यत्ते गुहमतमं भद्ठे तत् प्रभाषितुमरहसि
Bhīṣma uvāca—samānaśīlāṃ vīryeṇa Vasiṣṭhasthāṃ mahātmanaḥ | tvatto dharma-rahasyāni śrotum icchāmahe vayam | yat te guhyatamaṃ bhadre tat prabhāṣitum arhasi ||
毗湿摩曰：“贤淑之女啊，你在品行与灵力上与大圣仙婆悉吒（Vasiṣṭha）无二。我们愿从你处聆听达摩之隐秘要义。凡你所认定最为幽深隐奥之达摩，请为我们宣说。”
