अपि क्रतुशतैरिष्टवा क्षयं गच्छति तद्धवि: । नतु क्षीयन्ति ते धर्मा: श्रद्दधानै: प्रयोजिता:

Transliteration

api kratuśatair iṣṭvā kṣayaṃ gacchati taddhaviḥ | na tu kṣīyanti te dharmāḥ śraddadhānaiḥ prayojitāḥ ||

Translation

纵使行过百次祭祀，其供献（havis）之果终将衰减而耗尽；然而以信心（śraddhā）奉行之诸法——正行之戒律——却不衰减；由虔信者践行，便恒常不坏，其道德之力长存不失。
