सुह्दां दुःखमार्तानां न प्रमोक्ष्यसि चार्तिजम्‌ । अलमर्थगुणैहीनं तेनासि हरिण: कृश:

Transliteration

suhṛdāṁ duḥkhamārtānāṁ na pramokṣyasi cārtijam | alam arthaguṇair hīnaṁ tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ ||

Translation

婆罗门说道：“你的亲友与善愿之人正为苦难所逼，你却不能使他们脱离由困厄而生的痛楚；而你自己也觉察到缺乏资财与富贵之利。故而你如鹿一般，面色苍白、形体消瘦。”
