तपस्विनो धृतिमत: प्रमोद: समुपागत: । एतत् पृच्छामि ते विद्वन्नभिवाद्य प्रणम्य च
Transliteration
bhīṣma uvāca | tapasvino dhṛtimataḥ pramodaḥ samupāgataḥ | etat pṛcchāmi te vidvann abhivādya praṇamya ca |
Translation
毗湿摩说道：“你本是苦行之人，持忍坚固，而今却忽有喜悦临身。故此，博学者啊，我既致敬稽首，便请问：你方才为何含笑？这笑意从何而起？请告知这突如其来的欢悦之因。”
