tvaṁ hi tāta mahābuddhe sukham eṣyasi śobhanam | sukhāt sukhataraprāptim āprute matimān naraḥ ||
毗耶娑说:“亲爱的啊,大慧之人啊,因这次布施,你将获得殊胜之乐。智者以施而得乐,乐中更进于乐——由乐而至更高之乐。”
व्यास उवाच
Generosity (dāna) is presented as a dharmic act that yields increasing well-being: giving does not merely bring happiness once, but becomes a cause for progressively greater happiness for the wise.
Vyāsa addresses an unnamed listener affectionately and instructs him that the specific act of giving just performed (or being urged) will result in auspicious happiness, reinforcing the Anuśāsana Parva’s broader teaching on dāna-dharma.
