इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें बड़े और छोटे भाईका पारस्परिक बरतावनामक एक सौ पाँचवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargate dānadharmaparvaṇi baḍe ca choṭe bhrātroḥ paraspara-vyavahāra-nāmakaḥ ekaśata-pañcamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

至此，《圣摩诃婆罗多》之《阿努沙萨那篇》（Anuśāsana Parva）中“布施法”（Dāna-dharma）部分，题为《长兄与幼弟相互之道》的第一百零五章告终。此结语表明一段关于家族伦常之法的教诲已圆满：尤重兄弟之间的敬重、义务与相互担当。
