ऑपन-माज बक। अऑि-्छऋाय षर्डाधिकशततमोब< ध्याय: मास

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca—sarveṣām eva varṇānāṁ mlecchānāṁ ca pitāmaha | upavāse matir iyaṁ kāraṇaṁ ca na vidmahe ||

由提湿提罗说道:“噢,祖父啊,四姓之人——甚至那些在其外的弥勒叉——也都倾心于斋戒。我却不明白这份倾向真正的缘由。修行‘优婆婆娑’(禁食)究竟因何而起?”
