अनुपष्नन्‌ पितुर्दायं जड्घाश्रमफलोडध्वग: । स्वयमीहितलब्धं तु नाकामो दातुमहति

Transliteration

anupṛśnan pitur dāyaṃ jaṅghāśramaphalodvahaḥ | svayam īhitalabdhaṃ tu nākāmo dātum arhati ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：若长兄不损不侵父业，只凭双腿之劳远行他乡，以自身努力与辛勤得财，则此财乃其个人奋斗之果。因此，若他无意施与，亦不必将这自得之财分给诸弟。
