Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
गिरिप्रपाते गहने चैत्यस्थाने चतुष्पथे । (गोब्राह्मणालये दुर्गे दीपो भूतिप्रद: शुचि: ।) दीपदानं भवेन्नित्यं य इच्छेद् भूतिमात्मन:
giriprapāte gahane caityasthāne catuṣpathe | gobrāhmaṇālaye durge dīpo bhūtipradaḥ śuciḥ | dīpadānaṃ bhaven nityaṃ ya icched bhūtim ātmanaḥ ||
舒克罗说道：在山口险隘之处，在幽僻而危殆之地，在祠庙圣所，在十字路口——又在牛舍、婆罗门之家，以及城堡要塞之中——都应点燃并守护一盏清净之灯，此灯能赐福安泰。凡欲求自身兴盛者，当以献灯为日常之行。
