यथा च्छायातपौ नित्यं सुसम्बद्धौ निरन्तरम्‌ । तथा कर्म च कर्ता च सम्बद्धावात्मकर्मभि:

Transliteration

yathā cchāyātapau nityaṃ susambaddhau nirantaram | tathā karma ca kartā ca sambaddhāv ātmakarmabhiḥ ||

Translation

正如日光与阴影恒常相随、不可分离，业与造业者亦无间断地相系相缚——每个人都与由自身性情与行持所生之行为的果报与道德质地紧密相连。
