मृत्युरुवाच या काचिदेव चेष्टा स्यात् सर्वा कालप्रचोदिता । पूर्वमेवैतदुक्त हि मया लुब्धक कालत:
mṛtyur uvāca yā kācid eva ceṣṭā syāt sarvā kālapracoditā | pūrvam evaitad uktaṃ hi mayā lubdhaka kālataḥ ||
死神说道：“此世间凡有举动与作为——一切努力无不如此——皆为迦罗（时）所驱。我早已对你说过了，猎人啊：推动万物者，唯有时。”
