यथा वायुर्जलधरान् विकर्षति ततस्तत: । तद्धज्जलदवत् सर्प कालस्याहं वशानुग:,सर्प! जैसे हवा बादलोंको इधर-उधर उड़ा ले जाती है, उन बादलोंकी ही भाँति मैं भी कालके वशमें हूँ
yathā vāyur jaladharān vikarṣati tatastataḥ | tadvaj jaladavat sarpa kālasyāhaṃ vaśānugaḥ ||
毗湿摩说：“正如风把雨云驱向这边又赶向那边，我也如此——如同那些云——在时间（迦罗）的统御之下被携带而行。我并非绝对自主而行；我随时间的驱策而动。”
