Hear the account of divine ‘partial incarnations’ and royal lineages without a fault-finding mindset; such receptive listening is presented as spiritually and socially beneficial, yielding auspicious results like prosperity, fame, progeny, longevity, and victory.
Vaiśampāyana concludes a section describing how various beings on earth—especially war-proud kings and great-souled Yādava kṣatriyas—are connected to divine and semi-divine origins, and he adds a phalaśruti encouraging the listener to hear the episode with a pure attitude.
