वैशम्पायन उवाच
In danger, clarity and steadiness are superior to panic: the elder who understands the situation should reassure others and give practical guidance, and the young should follow disciplined instruction.
Jarītā addresses her children, stating that the hawk has seized the mouse and telling them not to fear in their present place, urging them to carry out her instruction.
