Garuḍa Learns the Cause of Vinatā’s Bondage and the Nāgas Demand Amṛta (Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 23)
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे चापि गरुड: काल आगते । विना मात्रा महातेजा विदार्याण्डमजायत,इसी बीचमें समय पूरा होनेपर महातेजस्वी गरुड माताकी सहायताके बिना ही अण्डा फोड़कर बाहर निकल आये
etasminn antare cāpi garuḍaḥ kāla āgate | vinā mātrā mahātejā vidāryāṇḍam ajāyata ||
沙乌那迦说道:与此同时,命定之时既至,威光赫奕的迦楼罗——不借母助——自裂其卵而生。此段彰显宿命之力与内在之强:时机一到,潜藏之能自会显现,人亦或不得不独自奋起,即便缺少母亲的扶持。
शौनक उवाच
The verse highlights that when the destined time (kāla) arrives, inherent strength and brilliance (tejas) can break constraints; one may have to emerge and act independently even without external or parental support.
Śaunaka narrates that at the completion of the proper time, Garuḍa, immensely radiant, breaks open the egg and is born without his mother’s assistance.
