इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि मयदर्शनपर्वणि शार्ज़ुकोपाख्यानेडष्टाविंशत्यधिकद्धिशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपव॑के अन्तर्गत मयदर्शनपर्वमें शा्ड्ुकोपाख्यानविषयक दो सौ अद्वाईसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi mayadarśanaparvaṇi śārṅgakopākhyāne aṣṭāviṃśatyadhika-dviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |

毗舍波耶那说道：“如是，在《圣摩诃婆罗多》中，于《初篇》（Ādi Parva）之内，在名为‘摩耶达尔沙那篇’（Mayadarśana Parva）的段落中，称作‘商伽迦传说’（Śārṅgaka Upākhyāna）的第二百二十八章至此终了。”此结尾定式用以标明一段叙事单元的圆满，昭示经文编次之谨严与传承之有序。
