तस्मिंस्तदा वर्तमाने कुरुदाशार्हनन्दनौ । समीपं जग्मतुः कंचिदुद्देशे सुमनोहरम्
tasmiṁstadā vartamāne kurudāśārhanandanau | samīpaṁ jagmatuḥ kañciduddeśe sumanoharam ||
毗舍摩波耶那说道:当那里的嬉戏欢宴正方兴未艾之时,二人——库鲁族之荣光阿周那,与达沙尔诃族之欢悦奎师那——便往近旁一处极其秀美之地而去。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid celebration, wise leaders and companions know when to step aside for purposeful consultation. The verse highlights discernment (viveka): choosing the right time and place for serious intent, rather than being carried away by public festivity.
During an ongoing festive pastime, Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna leave the main gathering and go nearby to a particularly charming spot, indicating a shift from public revelry to a more private moment—often a prelude to planning, counsel, or a significant decision.
