The verse highlights the ordered prosperity of a righteous royal household: abundance is paired with refinement (garlands, perfumes, tasteful recreation). Ethically, it frames enjoyment as culturally regulated and harmonious, not indulgence that disrupts duty.
After reaching a pleasure-ground by the Yamunā, the women of Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna’s household enter the play-pavilions with supplies—foods, rich drinks, garlands, and perfumes—and begin water-sport according to their preferences.
