तानेवं वदतो विप्रानर्जुन: प्रहसन्निव । उवाच प्रेक्षका भूत्वा यूयं तिष्ठथ पार्श्चत:,इस प्रकारकी बातें करनेवाले उन ब्राह्मणोंसे अर्जुनने हँसते हुए-से कहा--“आपलोग दर्शक होकर बगलमें चुपचाप खड़े रहें
tān evaṁ vadato viprān arjunaḥ prahasann iva | uvāca prekṣakā bhūtvā yūyaṁ tiṣṭhatha pārśvataḥ ||
那些婆罗门如此言说时,阿周那几乎带着微笑对他们说道:“诸位且立于一旁,静默观战即可。”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights a moment where Arjuna asserts personal agency over external commentary: learned observers may advise or criticize, but the actor in the situation may insist they remain witnesses rather than interfere—raising questions about the proper limits of counsel versus action within dharma.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that, in response to certain brāhmaṇas speaking in a particular way, Arjuna replies with a faintly amused tone and tells them to stand aside quietly as spectators.
