अन््यांश्व शिष्यान् भीमादीन् राज्ञश्वैवान्यदेशजान् | तथा च सर्वे तत् सर्व पश्याम इति कुत्सिता:
anyāṁś ca śiṣyān bhīmādīn rājñaś caivānyadeśajān | tathā ca sarve tat sarva paśyāma iti kutsitāḥ ||
毗湿摩耶那说道：他又以同样的问题问其他弟子——毗摩等人——以及在彼处求学的异邦诸王。众人皆答：“我们什么都看见。”师长便以其言为可责，呵斥而遣退。此段表明：仅仅自称有见或有能并不足取；求学之戒律在于辨识、谦抑，以及答语须契合师者所设之洞见考验。
