इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि सम्भवपर्वणि द्रोणशिष्यपरीक्षायामेकत्रिंशदाधिकशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपव॑ीके अन्तर्गत सम्भवपर्वनें आचार्य द्रोणके द्वारा शिष्योंकी परीक्षासे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला एक सौ इकतीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi sambhavaparvaṇi droṇaśiṣyaparīkṣāyām ekatriṁśad-adhika-śatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
毗湿摩耶那说道：如是，在《圣摩诃婆罗多》之《初篇》——尤指《诞生篇》——叙述德罗纳考校弟子之第一百三十一章至此告终。此结语之式，标明一段既毕，并将此事置为品性与才能的奠基之试：技艺与纪律、意向同受衡量，而这些终将塑成史诗后来的道德与战阵之冲突。
