तस्य ज्यातलनिर्घोषं द्रोण: शुश्राव भारत । उपेत्य चैनमुत्थाय परिष्वज्येदमब्रवीत्,भारत! उनके धनुषकी प्रत्यंचाका टंकार द्रोणने सोते समय सुना। तब वे उठकर उनके पास गये और उन्हें हृदयसे लगाकर बोले
tasya jyātalanirghoṣaṃ droṇaḥ śuśrāva bhārata | upetya cainam utthāya pariṣvajyedam abravīt ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：噢，婆罗多啊！德罗那即便在睡卧之时，也听见他弓弦震响、铮然作声。德罗那立刻起身，走到他跟前，热切拥抱，并说出如下言辞——这表明师长的嘉许与深情的认可，赞叹弟子武备已成。
