द्रोणाय वेदविदुषे भारद्वाजाय धीमते । पाण्डवान् कौरवांश्वैव ददौ शिष्यान् नरर्षभ
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
droṇāya vedaviduṣe bhāradvājāya dhīmate |
pāṇḍavān kauravāṃś caiva dadau śiṣyān nararṣabha ||
毗湿摩便将般度诸子与俱卢诸子一并托付为弟子于德罗纳——婆罗堕阇之子，通晓吠陀而具慧明者——使诸王子在兵器之学上受训而臻更高之卓越。
