Linga Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 144

देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

स्कन्धः स्कन्धधरो धुर्यः प्रकटः प्रीतिवर्धनः अपराजितः सर्वसहो विदग्धः सर्ववाहनः

skandhaḥ skandhadharo dhuryaḥ prakaṭaḥ prītivardhanaḥ aparājitaḥ sarvasaho vidagdhaḥ sarvavāhanaḥ

祂是支撑之柱,负载宇宙重任的承担者,至上的领袖;自显而明现,增长奉爱之喜。祂不可战胜,能忍受一切,极其睿智而洞察;并且祂承载并统御一切乘具——一切使众生在系缚中行进、趋向解脱的方便与途径。
