ājñāpaya jagatsvāmin prasādaḥ kriyatāṃ mayi Śiva orders the destruction of Nṛsiṃha śrībhagavānuvāca akāle bhayamutpannaṃ devānāmapi bhairava
Śrī Bhagavān (contextually Shiva addressing Bhairava)
It frames Shiva as Jagatsvamin and Pati whose prasāda (grace) is sought for protection; Linga-worship is presented as approaching the Lord’s sovereign command and compassion that dispels fear and restores cosmic order.
Shiva appears as the Blessed Lord who governs events beyond ordinary timing (akala) and responds through grace; as Pati, he oversees even the Devas and addresses disorder (fear) with decisive authority.
The key practice implied is śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge) and prasāda-bhāva—devotional surrender central to Pashupata orientation, where the pashu turns to Pati for release from bhaya as a form of pasha (bonding affliction).
