FAQs

It positions the Pañcākṣara (Namaḥ Śivāya) as the sustaining foundation behind dharma, the devas, and the cosmos—making mantra-japa a core support for linga-pūjā.

By implying that all cosmic order rests in Shiva’s mantra, it points to Pati (Shiva) as the ultimate ground in which pashu (souls) and the world are upheld, while pāśa (bondage) is overcome through his grace accessed by mantra.

Focused Pañcākṣara japa with avahita (one-pointed attention), aligned with Pāśupata-oriented inner discipline and devotion-based purification.
