उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

यत्सत्यं ब्रह्म इत्याहुर् असत्यं ब्रह्मदूषणम् अनृतं परुषं शाठ्यं पैशुन्यं पापहेतुकम्

Transliteration

yatsatyaṃ brahma ityāhur asatyaṃ brahmadūṣaṇam anṛtaṃ paruṣaṃ śāṭhyaṃ paiśunyaṃ pāpahetukam

Translation

众人宣说：真理即是梵（Brahman）本身；而虚妄则是对梵的玷污。不实之言、粗暴之语、欺诳与诽谤，皆为生罪之因——乃是缚索（pāśa），障碍帕舒（灵魂）转向帕提、主宰湿婆。
