शिवार्चनविधिः — देवतानां पाशुपतव्रतप्राप्तिः तथा पशुपाशविमोक्षणम् (अध्याय ८०)

tato dvādaśavarṣānte muktapāśāḥ surottamāḥ yayuryathāgataṃ sarve brahmaṇā saha viṣṇunā
随后,十二年期满,诸天中最殊胜者既已解脱诸缚索(pāśa),便与梵天(Brahmā)及毗湿奴(Viṣṇu)一同启程,各自回归本住处。

It frames the fruit of divine grace as “mukta-pāśa”—release from bondage—implying that true Linga-upāsanā culminates in loosening pāśas through Pati’s (Śiva’s) anugraha, after which beings return to their proper stations.
Though Śiva is not named, the key marker is liberation from pāśa; in Shaiva Siddhānta, only Pati has the sovereign power to cut bonds. The devas’ ‘mukta-pāśa’ state signals the unseen operation of Śiva-tattva as the liberating Lord.
The verse highlights the result rather than a method: freedom from pāśa after a defined period, aligning with Pāśupata discipline where sustained observance and Śiva’s grace mature over time into release from binding conditions.
