FAQs

It establishes two essentials of Linga-puja: dedicating all ritual substances to Pati (Śiva) and performing disciplined japa that starts with Oṁ, making worship both external (dravya) and internal (mantra).

Śiva is implied as Pati—the rightful recipient and inner Lord of the rite—so that offerings and sound (Oṁ and mantra) are consecrated to Him, loosening the pasha (bondage) of the pashu (individual soul) through ordered devotion.

It highlights mantra-japa performed prativarṇam—syllable-by-syllable in sequence—anchored in the Pranava (Oṁ), a practice aligned with Shaiva mantra-discipline and Pashupata-oriented inner purification.
