Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

“众生之中,谁能得成就——无论是天神,乃至达那婆也?”于是就在那一刹那,诸天之主投入神圣之事,使其迅速圆满成办。
Suta Goswami (narrating the Deva narrative within the Linga Purana)
It frames “siddhi” as swift and decisive when aligned with deva-kārya—an idea echoed in Linga worship where success is not merely personal effort but right alignment with dharma and the Pati (Shiva) who empowers the act.
Though Shiva is not named directly, the verse reflects a Shaiva Siddhanta principle: siddhi is ultimately governed by the higher Lord (Pati) who can make outcomes instantaneous; Devas and Danavas are pashus acting within pasha-bound causality unless uplifted by divine ordainment.
The takeaway aligns with Pashupata Yoga and puja-vidhi: focused sankalpa (resolve), dharmic intent, and devotion to Mahadeva lead to “kṣaṇāt” (immediate) effectiveness—suggesting concentrated worship and disciplined action rather than scattered effort.
