如今我将依次阐明诸《吠陀》以及诸《往世书》——那些昭示真知的圣典——按照正当的次第,如今在一切传承中所教授的那样。

It establishes scriptural pramāṇa: the narrator bases forthcoming teachings—including those supporting Liṅga symbolism and worship—on an ordered presentation of Vedic and Purāṇic knowledge that “reveals jñāna.”
Indirectly, it frames Shiva-tattva as knowable through jñāna-pradarśaka śāstra—authoritative revelation that guides the paśu (soul) toward discernment of Pati (the Lord) beyond pāśa (bondage).
No single rite is specified; the verse highlights the prerequisite of right scriptural order and doctrinal clarity, which in the Linga Purāṇa undergirds later Śiva-pūjā procedures and Pāśupata-yoga instruction.
