यदुवंश-प्रवचनम्: हैहय-क्रोष्टु-वंशविस्तारः (कृतवीर्यार्जुनादि, ज्यामघ-विदर्भ-शात्वत-पर्यन्तम्)
तस्य चासीद्दृढरथः शकुनिस्तस्य चात्मजः तस्मात् करम्भः सम्भूतो देवरातो ऽभवत्ततः
tasya cāsīddṛḍharathaḥ śakunistasya cātmajaḥ tasmāt karambhaḥ sambhūto devarāto 'bhavattataḥ
由他生出坚车(Dṛḍharatha);其子为舍拘尼(Śakuni)。由舍拘尼生迦蓝婆(Karambha),其后又生天赐(Devarāta)。如是王族血脉在主宰者帕提(Pati,即湿婆Śiva)无形的摄持下延续;而诸“畜生者”paśu(众魂)则在业之系缚pāśa中,随受身相续而流转。
