देवादिसृष्टिकथनम् (वसिष्ठशोकः, पराशरजन्म, एकलिङ्गपूजा, रुद्रदर्शनम्)
सम्पूज्य शिवसूक्तेन त्र्यंबकेन शुभेन च जप्त्वा त्वरितरुद्रं च शिवसंकल्पमेव च
sampūjya śivasūktena tryaṃbakena śubhena ca japtvā tvaritarudraṃ ca śivasaṃkalpameva ca
以《湿婆颂》(Śiva-sūkta)如法供养,又诵吉祥的三目神咒(Tryambaka)之后,当再诵《迅疾鲁陀罗》(Tvarita-Rudra)及《湿婆誓愿》(Śiva-saṅkalpa)——由此圆满湿婆礼拜之“真言支分”,引导被缚之灵(paśu)趋向主宰(Pati)。

It specifies the mantra-sequence within Linga-puja—Śiva-sūkta, Tryambaka, Tvarita-Rudra, and Śiva-saṅkalpa—showing that worship is completed not only by offerings but by Vedic recitation and inner resolve directed to Pati (Śiva).
Śiva is invoked as Tryambaka and Rudra—the auspicious yet sovereign Lord who purifies bondage (pāśa) through mantra, drawing the paśu toward His grace and right orientation (saṅkalpa) in worship.
Mantra-japa as a limb of Śiva-puja: disciplined recitation (japa) of Rudra/Śiva mantras coupled with Śiva-saṅkalpa, aligning mind and breath toward Pāśupata purification and devotion.
