It frames vighna-nivṛtti (cessation of obstacles) as a natural consequence of successful propitiation—when the Lord is pleased, obstructive forces lose their power, supporting the Linga-Pūjā aim of removing pāsas that bind the pashu.
Though the immediate image is of a dark-cloud-hued deity mounting Garuḍa, the Shaiva reading emphasizes the principle that Pati’s grace pacifies vighnas—Shiva-tattva as the sovereign remover of pasha, restoring inner order and auspiciousness.
The takeaway is vighna-śamana through steady worship and inner alignment: in Pāśupata-oriented practice, obstacles are treated as pasha-forms that subside through devotion, mantra, and disciplined worship centered on the Lord.
