Cosmic Abodes of Luminaries and the Shaiva Order of Time

दिव्यानां पार्थिवानां च नैशानां चैव सर्वशः आदानान्नित्यमादित्यस् तेजसां तमसामपि

divyānāṃ pārthivānāṃ ca naiśānāṃ caiva sarvaśaḥ ādānānnityamādityas tejasāṃ tamasāmapi

从天界、地界以及夜界诸境,以种种方式,阿底提耶(太阳)恒常摄取一切力量——既摄光明之能,亦摄幽暗之势。由此,他在主宰所立之有序创造中,充当宇宙的汇聚者。

It frames the cosmos as regulated energy: the Sun ‘receives’ and balances forces. In Linga worship, this supports the Shaiva view that all functions (light and obscuration) operate under Pati (Shiva), and the devotee offers back these energies through puja and self-discipline.

Though speaking of Āditya, it implies a higher governance: even tejas (illumination) and tamas (obscuration) are within an ordered system. In Shaiva Siddhanta language, Shiva as Pati remains the transcendent regulator while powers in prakriti function as instruments within his cosmic administration.
