Surya and Related Abhisheka/ Cosmological Determinations
विवस्वान् दशभिर् याति यात्येकादशभिर् भगः सप्तभिस्तपते मित्रस् त्वष्टा चैवाष्टभिः स्मृतः
vivasvān daśabhir yāti yātyekādaśabhir bhagaḥ saptabhistapate mitras tvaṣṭā caivāṣṭabhiḥ smṛtaḥ
毗婆斯梵(Vivasvān)以十道光芒运行;薄伽(Bhaga)以十一道而行。密多罗(Mitra)以七道照耀;工匠神特瓦什特利(Tvaṣṭṛ)被忆为具八道——由此诸阿底提耶(Āditya)以各自不同的日力尺度运作,维系宇宙的法则与秩序。

By detailing fixed measures of solar tejas among the Adityas, the verse frames cosmic maintenance as ordered power—supporting the Shaiva view that all such tejas ultimately rests in Pati (Shiva), whom the Linga signifies as the stable ground of all functions.
Though Shiva is not named, the verse implies a regulated distribution of power (śakti/tejas) in creation; in Shaiva Siddhanta this points to Shiva as Pati—transcendent yet immanent—who empowers deities to act while remaining the unmoved source beyond their limited measures.
It supports a tejas-oriented discipline: Surya-related nyasa/japa and prāṇa-regulation used as auxiliaries to Shiva-puja—channeling heat and radiance inward, then offering that awakened energy to the Linga as worship.
