Adhyaya 59 — सूर्याद्यभिषेककथनम्

Surya and Related Abhisheka/ Cosmological Determinations

मार्गशीर्षे भवेन्मित्रः पौषे विष्णुः सनातनः पञ्चरश्मिसहस्राणि वरुणस्यार्ककर्मणि

mārgaśīrṣe bhavenmitraḥ pauṣe viṣṇuḥ sanātanaḥ pañcaraśmisahasrāṇi varuṇasyārkakarmaṇi

在摩伽尸罗月(Mārgaśīrṣa),太阳之力作为“密多罗”(Mitra)而行;在保沙月(Pauṣa),永恒的“毗湿奴”(Viṣṇu)主宰其位。于伐楼那(Varuṇa)所摄的太阳运作(arka-karma)之中,有五千道光线在施行其功。
