FAQs

It frames Agni as a tattvic power of light-heat (tejas), supporting the Shaiva view that external worship-fire and inner yogic heat are sanctified energies offered into the Linga as the presence of Pati (Shiva).

By highlighting prakāśa (luminosity) and tejas, it points toward Shiva as the supreme illuminator in whom elemental energies appear; Agni’s burning power is a limited manifestation of that higher, all-revealing consciousness.

Agni-centered puja/homa and the yogic refinement of tejas (inner heat) are implied—disciplines that help the paśu (bound soul) loosen pāśa (bondage) by purifying the senses and mind toward Pati (Lord Shiva).
