承蒙世尊商婆(Śambhu)之恩,他依次受灌顶;且因先前已蒙加持,那位福德清净者光耀显现,成为世间之主。
Suta Goswami (narrating the Purana to the sages of Naimisharanya)
The verse centers Shiva’s prasāda as the decisive power behind abhiṣeka (consecration), implying that ritual anointing becomes spiritually effective when aligned with Śambhu’s grace—linking external Linga-abhisheka with inner sanctification.
Śiva appears as Pati—sovereign bestower of anugraha—whose grace establishes rightful order (yathākramam) and empowers a being to shine in dharma, indicating Shiva-tattva as the source of authority, auspiciousness, and spiritual legitimacy.
Abhiṣeka (ritual consecration/anointing) performed in proper sequence is highlighted; in a Shaiva Siddhanta reading, it also implies inner abhiṣeka—purification of the pashu through devotion and discipline so pasha (bondage) loosens by Shiva’s grace.
